That being said this means that you are obeying to what you are being asked to do. Boyd Is trying to tell us that freedom is given when you are obedient. He is also telling us that the more you listen to elders the more opportunists they will give you to be free and to do what you want. For example let’s say you want to go with friends to the mall Friday night. But your mom has giving you chores all week and you haven’t done one. Do you think she is going to let you go?
