The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People
"Habit 1 is the key to unlocking all the other habits and thats why it comes first.It says "I am the captain of life . I can choose my attitude . Im responsible for my own happiness or unhappiness.I am in the dirver's seat of my own destiny , not just a passenger"
Reflection: The meaning of the word being proactive is to create or controlling a situation by causing something to happen rather than responding to it after it has happened.Being proactive can be used in many different ways for example in school.Lets say your teacher gives you homework over the weekend but you want to go to the movies with your friends.If you were to be proactive you would stay at home and do the homework.If you arent proactive you would rather go out with your friends.
Habit 3 : Put first things first.
"Organize and excecute around priorities"
Reflection: Stephen simply says to put the first things first.This means to do what is most important at the beginning and to get everything you need in order to complete a certain task that you are focusing on.It is also telling us to do what matters to you most before you do something that isnt as important as the other task that you are responsible for.
Habit #4: Think Win-Win
"Think win-win or no deal "
This is a pretty easy undertsanding that is telling us to always think you are going to win and it will help you gain more confidence.Thinking win win can be good and bad.Bad because it will make you think you are tough and that you are better than anybody you know of.There will always be someone bigger and better than the other.
Habit #5: Seek first to Understand then to be understood
"Diagnose before you prescribe"
Habit 5 sounds a little confusing when read at its first glance.It is telling us to understand someone before you want someone to understand you.
Habit #6 : Synergize
"The whole is greater than the sum of the parts "
The meaning of the word of synergize means to cooperate and complete a certain task that you are responsible for .This means that you are also open to others opinions , adventures and theyre old problems.Being synergistic is obviously a good thing becuase it helps you work smarter and better.

Habit #7:Sharpen the saw
Four dimensions of Self-Renewal :Physical,Spirtiual,Mental and Social/Emotional
This is a great habit given to us by Stephen R. Covey and it is telling us to sharpen the saw.You might ssy or think that a saw is already strong enough . Well this is what he is telling us which is to make something good better than already it is.

Final Reflection: The 7 habits of highly effective people is a good way for humans to make the best out of themselves throughout their own life.All habits are important for us to commit to being successful . I will try my best to apply these 7 habits because it can lead you to do certain things that are positive.

Reflection : You may not understand what this quote is saying.It may require to put some thought into knowing what this mean's.For example Stephen is saying that before you start a game you should think about something good that will happen.For example before your basketball game you should have the mentality of saying that you will win even before the game starts . This just gives you more confidence to do better through the game. Jack Welch is saying something very similar as well . He is saying that you should have the mentality of winning every game or somebody else will win the game of you.
